Not all relationships are fun and games—especially in the supernatural world.

Cori and Bartol might be bonded mates, but that doesn’t mean they’re ready to accept an eternity with each other. They are both wounded souls with tragic pasts that haunt them and not quite ready to trust anyone. But all that may have to be set aside with new problems threatening their future. A demon is on the rise, intent on conquering the world. Bartol may be the only one who can stop him. And Cori discovers she’s developed a mystical ability that could put her at odds with the supernatural community. They’ve got their work cut out for them if they want to survive the coming storm, but supporting each other just might be the answer if they’re willing to take a chance.

Destined for Dreams is the second installment in the Dark Destiny Trilogy. Join Cori and Bartol on their journey to finding love and redemption even under the most difficult circumstances.

  1. My favourite character is Kerbasi, I know he has done terrible things to other characters but I’ve enjoyed watching him become more human and learn to fit into the group. I hope one day he can redeem himself fully – if that is possible!!! I’d like to see those he has wronged forgive him but I think in some cases he may have gone too far.

    • When I first wrote Kerbasi in Chained by Darkness, I’d known I’d bring him out into the “real” world in the next book (Darkness Divides), but I never guessed he’d become quite the character he has. I want him to eventually find his redemption as well 🙂

  2. I just wanted you to know that I picked up this series by chance and have been reading it NON-STOP?!!! I totally am involved in your characters and am in this world of yours. Kerbasi is a very intriguing character. I hated him and then I’m rooting for him and then I want to smack him again. He REALLY reminds me of Sheldon from BBT 🙂 – how he’s so literal about things sometimes and a fanatic about other things. Would love to receive an ARC of 2nd book. Thank you and please keep writing. I need something on Micah!! Maybe he and Areil? 🙂

    • So glad to hear you’re enjoying the series, Toni. Kerbasi is a fun character to write, and I love it when I can find ways to include him in scenes (or give him his own story such as the holiday novella). For Micah, he is a potential candidate for getting his own book. I’m still considering that one, but I’ve had a woman in mind for him for a couple of years now if I do write his novel. She would be an all-new character. I just keep getting images and background details for her in my head that won’t go away.

  4. I love your series, i cant get enought of them. Im always waiting for the next book. Cori is my favorite character. She stood by her friends through thick and thin.

  5. My favourite character is probably remiel. I don’t really like him all that much but his interactions with emily are just something else.
Also the scene when he visited ariell after they rescued her from hell was very touching.
I would like to see more of him in the future 🙂

  6. I’m going to go with Kerbasi as well. He has already changed so much since you introduced him to us, and continues to do so. He has so much potential to be a decent person and possibly even a “good guy” if he can stay out of his own way and keep learning. His case shows that no matter how horrible someone seems, that there can still be good in them that can be nourished.
